River Cove Cabin House Rules

House Rules  

1. The River - All activities regarding the River at your own risk!

• Fishing on the river is allowed but you technically need a fishing license. If a park rep comes on property you are required to have a license when fishing.
• Fishing is NOT ALLOWED off any of the decks! You can fish anywhere off the banks of the river.
• Swimming, Tubing, Kayaking etc. - this is a dam-controlled river which means that the river varies greatly in speed and depth during the course of the day.
• There are no supplies for any of these activities supplied by River Cove Cabins
   

2. Camp Fires

• We currently have 1 communal firepit that any of our guests can use – you would have to supply your own wood.
• This is for “campfires” NOT bonfires – must be kept to small fires.
   

3. BBQ

• Each cabin has there own “Park Style” BBQ stand – best to use charcoal or similar fire source for grilling.
• Guest must bring own fire source
• BBQ Grills are for grilling only – NO campfires in the grill.
   

4. Smoking

• NOT allowed in any cabin! $50.00 cleaning fee if smoking in the room.
• You can smoke on your cabin's deck or on the grounds.
• Be respectful of other guests who may not smoke.
• Ashtrays are supplied on each deck for USE. Do not throw cigarette butts on the grounds or in the river!
   

5. Game room

• You may remove some of the games provided from the game room and play them on the grass.
• Please return any games removed back to the game room.
   

6. Quiet Hours

• Keep noise level down after 11:00 pm and before 9:00 am.
• Noise includes radios and excessively loud conversations.
   

7. Guests

• Guests (2-3) can stop by and visit for a period of time – 3 to 4 hours.
• There are no “Parties” allowed on premise. Without approval from ownership!
• There can be no more then 1-2 additional vehicles on site for a period of time 3 to 4 hours. 
• NO overnight guests are allowed. The number of guests you booked is the number of guests that can stay in the cabin.
   

8. Pets

• 1-2 small dogs allowed.
• There is $10.00 per night extra charge for dogs.
• Must be kept on leash when walking around grounds.
• ALL poop must be cleaned up.
• NOT allowed in the river. Very dangerous due to height and speed of river at times!
• NOT allowed in hot tubs or bathtub.
• NOT allowed to be left alone in cabins.
• No excessive barking.
• Aggresive dogs may be asked to leave
• Violations of any of the above are subject to being asked to leave premises and/or moentary penalty of $50.00.
