Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

Restored train offering a 4-hr., 26-mi. round-trip ride, plus themed trips, on a heritage railway. What a fantastic way to see the mountains, the restored cars are in pristine condition. Extended stops in McCaysville GA & Copperhill TN so you can enjoy all the other towns restaurants and shopping have to offer. Truly a fun experience to have with friends and family.

Cherokee Historical Museum

Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906

While walking the downtwon area you should stop into this musuem. They have a wonderful collection of Cherokee Artifacts, antique farm equipment & local artifacts. The musuem also boasts a photo exhibit and has on display over 700 dolls. Well maintained and knowledgable staff!

Cupid Falls

Short 35 Minute drive to lovely waterfall. Great spot for a casual hike with kids and dogs. Watch the kids by the waterfall as it can be wet and slippery. Otherwise its a fun easy walk to see a cool waterfall.

Expedition BigFoot - The Sasquatch Museum

 

Everyone loves BigFoot stories and sightings so what better place to visit then the Sasquatch Musuem. Really is a fun and interesting place for kids and adults! Educational and entertaining. Fantastic lifesize displays and an educational movies at the Sasquatch Theatre.

Fields of the Wood

Gigantic monuments include a 30-foot-high Bible at a religious theme park with a gift shop.

What a great spot to walk around, wonderfully maintained. Football field size 10 commandments. Take a walk up the 321 step prayer mountain with 29 biblical teachings displayed on monuments throughout the ascent. The All Nations cross made of flags from around the globe is a great place for photo!

Historic Mineral Bluff Depot

If you a Model train enthusiast then this is a must see location! Historic Train Depot. Great spot to entertain your kids. You can also ride the rails on there small train that runs thru the mountains.
