Simply beautiful walk for those that want the outdsoors but don't want rustic hike through the forest. Paved path that runs most of the town of Murphy all along the river with beautiful views and nice places to sit and relax and have a conversation with friends. Great for those that want to get there daily excersise in a tranquil setting! Get your Zen in while making your body feel good!

The quaint mountain town of Murphy NC is located along the Hiwassee River having a unique location bordering Tennessee, Georgia & South Carolina means you can visit several states all within a 25 to 30-minute drive. Downtown Murphy offers many restaurants, bistros, ice cream parlors, pizzerias, breweries and pubs. A nice range of locally owned shops, crafts & outdoor markets to explore. You can always take a short ride and visit one of the several wineries in the area, Valley River Wineries, Notley River Valley or Crane Creek Vineyards.

For a little exercise take a peaceful stroll on Murphy River Walk. For fun activities, you can choose from Kayak rentals, E-Bike Tours, Nantahala Outdoor Center and many hiking and biking trails. 

You can always try your luck at Harrah’s Casino offering many table games or slots they have to offer.
